In 1980, I combined a love of sculpture with an interest in business and formed Cooper Dolls. I design, sculpt and produce one-of-a-kind and limited edition artist dolls.

My studio is filled with polymer clay, silk ribbons, vintage fabrics, mohair, paint, beads, sheep wool, cutting tools, etc. etc. There is never an end to possibilities, processes or ideas. As I sculpt, hour after hour, my hands do the work and my mind travels to memories of the past and possibilities of the future. In the end, I will know when I have finished life as a doll maker, when I can say, “I’ve made them all."
